Welcome to the PIIC Wiki!!

The Pennsylvania Institute for Instructional Coaching (PIIC) is a partnership of the Annenberg Foundation and the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Our mission is to provide the uniform and consistent delivery of sustained professional development around instructional coaching and mentoring. PIIC works to build teacher capacity as a means of increasing student engagement, improving student achievement.

PIIC defines an instructional coach as someone whose chief professional responsibility is to bring evidence-based practices into classrooms by working with teachers and other school leaders.
